Oh lord... that whole y2k thing as a non-event. Jeez - the people buying propane powered refrigerators (not kidding - they do exist), a 20 year supply of Cheez Whiz, and converting their underbed storage to a pantry for freeze dried food. Survivalist web sites (Oh the irony - selling this stuff via web sites...) must have been laughing all the way to the bank. Oh yeah - the banks that survived y2k even.
