A Child's Introduction To Disco

There are middle age people still in therapy over this........

Alcoholic Toothpaste

In 1954, novelty companies came out with alcoholic beverage flavoured toothpastes. Offered in Scotch, Bourbon and Rye. And 6 Proof! Woo-Hoo!

Exactly the kind of thing to start the morning with on your breath, but hey - it was the '50s.....

Console Stereos

My mom had one exactly like this. It was a Sears system with an AM/FM Stereo radio and an 8-Track tape player. It was a beauty and with a good Kiss record on, it could rock the block.....

Cragmont Soda

Available only at Safeway stores, this stuff was notoriously bland tasting.......

Curse Free TV

"Hooray! Now our family can watch Reservoir Dogs with confidence! Thank you Curse Free TV!"

If there is one product that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, it's this one.

Seriously, if some people are so offended by hot language - why are they even watching movies and TV shows that have such offending language?

Secondly, how do they function in society?

Curse Free TV is a device that uses the Closed Caption portion of the video signal to delete whatever offending words without displaying the captions. If your program or movie has no closed captioning, well, your North Korea-like family environment is about to be shattered.

This even has a setting that allows religious words (God, Jesus Christ) to be bleeped out. Just what I need to tolerate Sunday morning TV........
